Concert Coverage: The Veldt on tour with Phantogram

Echosynthetic is going to be doing a live review of shoegaze, alt-soul legends The Veldt who are about to kick off on their East Coast tour with Phantogram. They are touring in support of their new EP, The Shocking Fuzz of Your Electric Fur, due out in June. The Veldt are one of the longest running and most respected shoegaze bands on the scene and I jumped at the opportunity to see them at The Tabernacle on March 17th in Atlanta. Their fusion of soul influences, dreampop, and vocals that just don’t stop have made this a must see for me. The fact that Phantogram is going to be there is just icing on the cake! Stay tuned for more updates as the show gets closer, but this is a show you’re not going to want to miss! There’s only six shows, here are the rest of the dates for those of you not in the Atlanta market:

Saturday March 11 @ The Rivera Theatre / Chicago, IL

Sunday March 12 @ The Palace Theatre / St. Paul, MN

Monday March 13 @ The Orpheum Theater / Madison, WI

Tuesday March 14 @ The Canopy Club / Urbana, IL

Thursday March 16 @ Bogart’s / Cincinnati, OH

Friday March 17 @ The Tabernacle / Atlanta, GA
