A new video from Brighton (UK) synth-pop duo Battery Operated Orchestra (BOO) has emerged in advance of next month’s release of a special “maxi-single” package that will include the song “Radiation” (the title track from the group’s second full-length album), as well as an altogether new track from BOO and remixes from Sound of Science, Petra Black, Jan Doyle Band, and Pattern Language.
But don’t sleep on getting this special release – it will be available for FREE download (including bonus material on the making of the Radiation album) during the week of September 12 through September 19. So far there is no word on how it will be available after that. Links and deets are available at batteryoperatedorchestra.com.
“Radiation is about taking our power back. So much of what we say and think has been transmitted to us by other people, but we can transmit right back.”

When he’s not running from the chemical mist, Chris Frain records and performs under the name Pattern Language. You can find the first EP, Total Squaresville, on Happy Robot Records here: https://happyrobotsrecords.bandcamp.com/album/total-squaresville.
