Synthwave Sunday: A Double Dose of Turbo Knight

It’s no secret that I think that Turbo Knight is one of the most talented writers on the synthwave scene. Time after time he’s able to deliver quality work and I find myself coming back to his music well after I’ve covered it. Needless to say, I’m pretty thrilled to have two songs to share with you today!

First up, Mirrorverse! It’s a slow burn track that builds from subtle beginnings to a bold and epic conclusion. I can almost imagine a movie sequence where one discovers a window into an alternate version of our world where this music plays as the scene unfolds. My point is, this is film score level material.

The next song we’re going to check out is Abduction. It’s a futuristic thriller with a blistering outrun pace, vocoder vocals (looooooove them), and another strong finish. If Turbo Knight has shown me anything as he’s grown in his songwriting, it’s his ability to tell a story through his music. Abduction almost feels as if it has chapters (much the way Mirrorverse did).

You can keep up with what Turbo Knight is up to over on his Soundcloud page. He always has something up his sleeve so make sure and subscribe so that you’ll always be up to date on his releases!
