New Music: Genesis’84 / Syndicate Warrior: Absolute Terror

I am excited to introduce you to the latest full length record from Genesis’84. It honestly has everything you could possibly want from a synth based record. Syndicate Warrior: Absolute Terror is an album that refuses to be pigeonholed into any one genre or style. These 12 tracks range from synthwave to techno-infused house music, with a taste of other influences in between. There’s no way you’re getting bored with this record on!

Something else that I really enjoy about this Genesis’84 album is how gritty it is. There are perfectly timed samples that add a layer of danger to the tracks, like you’ve stumbled upon some bootleg recording you’re not supposed to be listening to. There’s a true infusion of the underbelly of the 1980’s but not at the cost of losing any real world punch that feels very modern. The song “Bloody Carnage” is a perfect example of this.

If you’re tired of the same old sound that can seem monotonous, Genesis’84 has the solution. I don’t know the last time I’ve covered a more varied album on the site. Syndicate Warrior: Absolute Terror is available right now on Bandcamp!
